Commercial Real Estate

The preferred retail, industrial and office recruitment partners

King's Cross, London

Customer demand is driving the evolution of the retail sector, leading to significant changes in the role of physical space. From mixed-use shopping centres and traditional high streets to in-demand warehousing space for online retailers, the demands of the property industry are shifting rapidly and harder to predict than ever before. This changing dynamic, driven by the rise of ecommerce and omnichannel retail, is disrupting the role of space.

Similarly, the industrial landscape has transformed due to consumer needs, attracting investor interest in diversifying portfolios. Investing in warehouses and related facilities has become increasingly profitable, with significant investments made in this sector.

From large industrial warehouses to last mile logistics, to self-storage units, investing in ‘sheds’ or warehouses has proved profitable in recent years – having long been a favoured investment vehicle for pension funds and insurance companies, an increasing amount of investors are turning their backs on other sectors in favour of this sector. According to a report by Savills, property investors spent an unprecedented £18.37bn scooping up warehouse assets in 2021, driven by the soaring popularity of online shopping.
