Q&A With Daniah
What makes MRG 'Different by Design'?
At MRG, we’re a people business at heart. We believe in building strong, genuine partnerships with our clients, working closely together to understand their needs and challenges. It’s not just about delivering a service—it’s about collaborating, sharing ideas, and growing together. By acting as true partners, we create lasting relationships that help our clients succeed.
What's the emerging trend in your sector specialism and how are you responding to this?
While the focus on diversity, inclusion, and succession planning isn't new, it’s become even more crucial as businesses recognise the need for leadership that reflects diverse perspectives and prepares for the future.
How We Are Responding:
At MRG, we prioritise diversity and inclusion in both executive search and succession planning. We work closely with clients to build leadership teams that are diverse and inclusive, while also creating succession plans that ensure long-term success and adaptability in an ever-changing business landscape.
Is there a particular project that you have been involved in that you're proud of?
One project I’m particularly proud of is my work with Associated British Ports, where I placed all the heads of property within the business. This was a challenging and rewarding task, as ABP is a large, operational business with diverse property needs across multiple regions.
I worked closely with their team to build out strong regional leadership, ensuring they had the right people in place to drive their long-term property goals. This included salary benchmarking, identifying and securing missing talent, and supporting the development and implementation of their property strategy. It was fulfilling to contribute to ABP's long-term property vision, helping them optimise their property portfolio, improve operational efficiency, and create sustainable growth across their sites.
