About Anna

I joined MRG in 2022 after gaining extensive experience in managerial roles within the hospitality and corporate office sectors. Over the years, I’ve developed strong skills in customer service, events management, and facilities management, working with renowned hotel operators such as the Radisson Group. At MRG, I focus on recruiting mid to senior-level management positions across both the public and private sectors, with a particular emphasis on Student Accommodation, Commercial Services, and Facilities Management. Some of my recent appointments include senior roles at King’s College London, Queen Mary University of London, and SOAS. I’m passionate about matching talented professionals with roles where they can truly thrive.

The grass is always greener where you water it.

Q&A With Anna

What makes MRG 'Different by Design'?

“Different by design" – to me, this means being deliberately different: adaptable, supportive, and authentic. With over 18 years in the market, we are experts in our respective fields. For us, it's not just about sourcing the best talent — it's about truly understanding our clients' needs, team dynamics, and the nature of their sectors.
We take great pride in what we do, and cutting corners is never an option. Each of us brings our authentic self to work, empowered by MRG’s values to deliver excellence.

How has your career at MRG progressed?

I began my career in hospitality and expected to stay in the industry long term. However, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic led me to explore new paths. After a brief move into the corporate world, I applied for a university role through MRG and was instead offered the opportunity to join the team. I've been with MRG since June 2022.
Over the past three years, I’ve experienced tremendous professional growth, developing new skills while enhancing existing ones. I initially joined as a Resourcing Manager, focusing on mid-level residential appointments across Higher Education and PBSA. In 2025, I was promoted to Senior Manager – Commercial Services and Student Accommodation.
My focus has expanded to include key appointments within both universities and PBSA providers, covering residential, commercial, and facilities management roles. Coming from a sector that values attention to detail, a passion for customer service, and a drive for excellence, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a home at MRG — a company that lives and breathes these same values. The transition felt seamless, and I genuinely look forward to what the future holds here.

How do you add value to your customers?

I add value by understanding the unique demands of Higher Education and PBSA, and by delivering candidates who not only meet the brief but fit the culture. I focus on building long-term partnerships rather than transactional relationships, which allows me to deliver high-quality candidates who align not just with the job specification, but with the wider organisational goals and culture.
