Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer with expertise in industrial building projects to lead the process engineering efforts within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, optimization, and implementation of industrial processes within building projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process engineering activities for industrial building projects from conceptual design through construction and commissioning phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to develop integrated solutions that meet project requirements.
- Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to identify optimal process design configurations.
- Design and specify equipment, instrumentation, and control systems necessary for process operations within industrial buildings.
- Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other engineering documents.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
- Interface with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and design reviews to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor proposals, conducting technical evaluations, and assisting with equipment selection.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum of [12] years of experience in process engineering within the industrial building construction industry.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
