Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal / Lead Architect to join our team specializing in industrial building projects. As the Principal / Lead Architect, you will be responsible for leading the architectural design process from conception to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of industrial facilities that meet our clients’ needs and exceed industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design Leadership:
- Lead the architectural design team in developing innovative and functional design solutions for industrial building projects.
- Oversee the creation of conceptual designs, schematic designs, and design development drawings.
- Ensure that design concepts align with project requirements, budget constraints, and local building codes and regulations.
Project Management:
Take ownership of multiple industrial building projects simultaneously, managing project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the architectural design process with other disciplines and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and proactively.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize your expertise in industrial architecture to develop efficient and sustainable building designs that optimize space utilization, workflow efficiency, and operational functionality.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in industrial architecture, incorporating relevant advancements into project designs where applicable.
Review and approve construction documents, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, inspiring team members to excel in their roles and contribute to the success of the architectural practice.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers, helping them develop their skills, knowledge, and professional growth.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on industrial building projects.
Proven track record of successfully leading architectural design teams and delivering complex projects from concept through construction.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Deep understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements related to industrial facilities.
