About our client: A visionary PIF-backed developer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As our client continues to expand, they are seeking a highly experienced land planning professional for the role of Land Development Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the extensive land area into a world-class destination.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will lead the clients master planning, land use optimization, and project management efforts. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, government entities, and external partners to ensure the successful realization of their vision.
Responsibilities:
- Master Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of master planning processes aligned with the project's vision and goals.
- Land Use and Zoning: Lead efforts to optimize land use, zoning, and infrastructure planning in compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
- Project Management: Manage the execution of land development projects, collaborating with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster collaboration with internal departments, government agencies, and external partners to facilitate smooth land development processes.
- Environmental Sustainability: Drive initiatives for sustainable land development practices, incorporating green technologies and environmentally friendly design principles.
- Budget Oversight: Manage budgets for land development projects, ensuring financial responsibility and adherence to financial goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to land development activities and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 4 years in land development, with experience in large-scale entertainment or resort projects being highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of urban planning, zoning regulations, and land use policies.
- Exceptional project management skills with a successful history of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulatory processes and local construction practices is a plus.
