ROLE PURPOSE
Support with and own development management activities in relation to Infrastructure assets in the project and potentially the wider Region. Work collaboratively with Sectors, Projects to execute the project development strategy. Implementing contemporary development practices, effectively consulate with internal and external stakeholders to create a high-quality future facing integrated city.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Support with preparation of Stage 3A (Concept) to Stage 3D (Tender documentation) design Briefs (includes Detail design)
- Liaise with Project Management Company (PMC) and Sectors to finalize Design Stage Request for Proposals (RFP) as per procedures
- Prepare a detailed development plan/timeline for the Asset, indicating the short and long-term, activities
- Work with the Infrastructure Lead and development team to assist with any feasibility analysis for various components of the infrastructure assets, aligning the feasibility
- Monitor and drive the delivery of the designs for site-wide Infrastructure, coordinate with other key internal and external stakeholders and provide status updates to relevant parties
- Assist with the integration of site mobility strategies into infrastructure design
- Drive the integration of Landscaping and Public Realm into the infrastructure design in accordance with the development strategy and product positioning and following the procedures
- Coordinate plans and work between design disciplines and internal stakeholders with careful attention to detail.
- Assist in taking the site-wide infrastructure design through the Design Stage Gate reviews with Key Stakeholders
- Attend project and construction meetings, ensuring that project progress occurs in alignment with the development strategy and business case
- Work closely with other teams for the successful planning and delivery of these assets
- Provide assistance to Projects during construction ensuring quality and development goals are achieved
- Assist Asset Management and Facility Management in the startup of operations of the Infrastructure assets
- In conjunction with N Projects and PMC, support with the review assets cashflows and input into forecasts and yearly budgets
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-7 years of experience in the real estate development fields with a good understanding of the asset development process
- A broad range of experience in design and development management with a good understanding of the key principles driving the design of Infrastructure including investment analysis
- Possess a working knowledge of the real estate development life cycle / process, from project inception to opening and asset management
- Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse work environment with substantial lateral
- stakeholder management
- Excellent use of MS Office and ability to prepare powerful presentations
- Passion for developing well-executed projects in a dynamic and creative environment.
- Degree in Real Estate or Real Estate Development, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management; (Masters degree preferred)
