Client Profile: Our client are an asset management firm with a primary focus on the creation and management of real estate funds. With a substantial portfolio exceeding $1 billion in AUM, they are poised for significant expansion. Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Investment Director or Executive to direct their ambitious growth plans.

Job Purpose: The Group Investment Director will play a pivotal role in driving portfolio growth by adeptly sourcing and structuring new deals. They will ensure that capital is prudently invested in projects that are not only profitable but also align with the strategic objectives and Key Performance Indicators of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Crafting the Investment Strategy:
   1. Develop a strategic roadmap to enhance the group's real estate portfolio, considering optimal geographies, sectors, and assets for value creation.
   2. Analyze market data and trends to provide actionable insights guiding investment decisions.
2. Sourcing Opportunities:
   1. Proactively identify, assess, and analyze potential deals.
   2. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to maintain a robust deal pipeline.
   3. Conduct rigorous screening of transactions to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and KPIs.
3. Deal Structuring:
   1. Lead the end-to-end management of investment deals, including negotiations, stakeholder management, and due diligence processes.
   2. Structure various real estate transactions, encompassing acquisitions/disposals, joint ventures, and fund creation.
   3. Develop and promote investment memoranda, participating in investor meetings to secure capital for real estate funds.
   4. Oversee commercial aspects of development projects, including feasibility studies, site acquisition, and negotiation of agreements.
4. Team Collaboration and Brand Representation:
   1. Foster internal collaboration and a positive work environment to drive team cohesion and success.
   2. Act as a brand ambassador, representing the firm to the market, partners, stakeholders, and relevant authorities.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 15+ years of real estate investment experience; preference will be given to experience within the UAE or GCC region.
• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or related field.
• Extensive experience in overseeing real asset transactions, including income-producing assets and development projects.
• Proven track record in creating and implementing development funds.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, and investment management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present recommendations effectively.
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and impeccable communication skills.
• Demonstrated professional integrity and work ethic.
