Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the post is responsible for organising all team activity in providing all aspects of energy management across Imperial’s diverse estate portfolio. The role is responsible for a well-structured team which includes an Energy Systems Engineer, Energy and Environment Officer, Energy Engineer and Energy Data Analyst.

You will provide specialist expertise and direction for all carbon and energy management in line with the university’s strategic plan. This will encompass responsibility for identifying carbon reduction projects, expertise and innovation in carbon reduction for major capital projects in addition to developing and monitoring progress against targets and raising the profile of carbon and energy across estates operations.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in delivering energy management initiatives across a comparable diverse and complex estate. You will possess strong communication skills with the ability to succeed in highly collaborative and collegiate environments that rely on extensive stakeholder engagement.  The role will suit professionals with proven track records in delivering renewable technologies across a similar multi-site portfolio.
