About the role:
On behalf of our client, The Management Recruitment Group is looking for a Design Manager to design a state-of-the-art oceanarium for a ground-breaking giga project in Saudi Arabia that will revolutionise the way of design and architecture.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the conceptualisation and implementation of the oceanarium's design vision, guaranteeing that it aligns seamlessly with the project's overarching goals and objectives.
- Implement strategic design initiatives and oversee the execution of design concepts, emphasising innovation and sustainability in alignment with the project’s goal.
- Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving the integration of design objectives into the project's strategic framework and contributing to the achievement of overarching project milestones.
- Implement cutting-edge design strategies strategically and oversee their implementation.
- Coordinate and integrate design proposals from consultants and architects into the development plan, ensuring consistency with the marketing strategies and project requirements.
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary coordination among development teams to ensure seamless execution of the oceanarium project and adherence to established business case objectives.
- Offer strategic evaluation and critique on design deliverables, while establishing and applying the specific design guidelines to ensure consistent alignment with strategic objectives and sector standards.
You will need to be:
The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from conception to completion, preferably in large scale aquarium projects, oceanariums, or the theme park sector.
Background, Skills, and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience within the design and architectural domain, working for a prestigious blue-chip architectural or design firm.
- Experience working on large scale projects with multi-million-dollar values.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Design, or fields.
