The role: BIM Modeler C&S (Industrial Building Construction),

The Requirements:
We are seeking a talented Civil & Structure (C&S) BIM Modeler with a specialization in Industrial Building Projects to join our esteemed client. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Building Information Modelling (BIM) software and possess a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and structural design concepts. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed 3D BIM models for industrial building construction projects, incorporating civil and structural elements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and design intent.
Generate accurate quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models to support cost estimation and procurement activities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications in BIM modeling and documentation.
Conduct clash detection analysis and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
Prepare construction drawings, plans, and sections derived from BIM models for use by construction teams.
Assist in the coordination of construction activities by providing timely updates and revisions to BIM models as needed.
Support the implementation of BIM protocols, standards, and best practices within the organization.
Stay abreast of emerging BIM technologies and trends, and participate in professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Proven experience as a BIM Modeler in the industrial building construction sector.
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, structural analysis, and design concepts.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality BIM models and construction documentation.
Problem-solving aptitude and ability to identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues.
