About Steph
I have over a decade of recruitment experience, working across both agency and in-house environments. I’ve successfully placed interim and permanent professionals in sectors such as real estate and healthcare. In 2020, I joined MRG to bring my expertise into a support-led role, becoming a key part of the UK Global team.
I play a central role in streamlining operations, managing processes, and providing seamless recruitment assistance across the business. My focus is on ensuring efficiency and consistency in everything we do.
When I’m not managing recruitment operations, I’m usually planning my next adventure. My travels have taken me from Bali to the Moroccan coast, where I now live and work remotely.
Q&A With Steph
What makes MRG 'Different by Design'?
What makes MRG ‘Different by Design’ is the level of trust and flexibility the business places in its employees. When I joined in 2020, the business already had a mature mentality and culture, and became even clearer when I was supported to transition into a fully remote role. This level of autonomy and trust is rare in my opinion, in the recruitment industry. I also think its important to mention about the investment in people and how I have always felt part of a supportive team, regardless of my location.
How has your career at MRG progressed?
Since joining MRG in 2020, my role has progressed and evolved significantly. Initially supporting the MRG UK team, I’ve since taken on much broader responsibilities across global teams, including Middle East, Malaysia and South Africa. My position has grown from administrative support to a more central operational role, where I now coordinate recruitment processes, manage systems and contribute as an integral part of our international projects. I am a key point of contact for internal systems, interviews and client/candidate engagement, helping ensure consistency and quality across the board.
Is there a particular project that you have been involved in that you're proud of?
One project I’m particularly proud to have supported is our ongoing work with Qiddiya, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading giga-projects and now one of our biggest clients. I’ve played a key role in coordinating their recruitment processes, including leading the administrative side of several high-pressure, last-minute international roadshows. From managing candidates to liaising with senior stakeholders within the company, I’ve ensured everything runs smoothly and seamlessly. These efforts have directly contributed to the successful delivery of interviews and hires at executive level. Supporting Qiddiya has been incredibly rewarding and has strengthened my ability to operate under pressure and across different time zones.
