Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and ready to make a difference? On behalf of our client, a PIF portfolio development company, MRG Global is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Environmental and Sustainability Lead within our client’s organization.
About the Role:
As the Environmental and Sustainability Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing all technical and commercial aspects of our clients Environmental and Sustainability sector. From overseeing masterplans to ensuring compliance with LEED certification standards, your work will directly impact our client’s projects’ environmental footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and oversee sustainability initiatives and strategies for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with LEED standards and manage the certification process.
• Monitor and reduce GHG emissions across all projects.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to meet sustainability goals.
• Stay updated with regional and international environmental regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering, preferably in Environmental, Civil, or related degree.
• LEED Accredited Professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in environmental and sustainability roles at management level.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
