Recruitment Coordinator.
What are you most proud about that you have achieved in your career to date?I’m most proud of gaining hands-on experience early in my career, especially managing end-to-end recruitment processes during my training. From sourcing candidates to onboarding, I was trusted with real responsibilities, which helped me build strong confidence and practical skills in a short time.
How did you get into recruitment, and why?
I got into recruitment during my training, where I was exposed to Talent Acquisition. I found it really interesting because it combines people interaction with strategic thinking. I enjoy understanding different profiles and matching the right talent to the right role.
What energises me the most is the impact. Being part of someone’s career journey and helping teams grow by finding the right talent is very rewarding. Every role is different, which keeps things dynamic and interesting. What’s the biggest thing that’s changed in recruitment since you started?
Since I started, I have noticed how much recruitment is becoming more data-driven and technology-focused. Tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and digital platforms have made sourcing more strategic, not just reactive.
What’s one thing that most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I can be a bit of a germaphobe; I am very particular about keeping things clean and sanitised.
“Take initiative, even if you’re still learning.”
This really shaped how I approach my work, I try not to wait, and instead take ownership and learn through experience.
Organised, responsible and proactiveAnd finally, who would play you in the movie about your life?
I would say Viola Davis — strong, and highly resilient under pressure.
