“My mum is a big believer in the saying "Never Stop Learning" and this is a phrase I live by. No matter what age, we are all capable of change, and learning something new - and I think this is one of the reasons life is so abounding. I hope that I can inspire that feeling in other people too.

Q&A With Alison
How has your career at MRG progressed?
I began my career at MRG in early 2020 as Executive Assistant and Training & Development Coordinator. I quickly became deeply involved in the executive search process, which I found really rewarding. When I joined, we were mainly operating in the UK and had just opened our office in Kuala Lumpur. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching us grow and it’s been an absolute pleasure supporting the company as we expanded into South Africa, the Middle East, India, and Poland. It’s been wonderful to see our teams develop and to support my amazing colleagues along the way.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, thanks in part to everyone who has supported my professional development at MRG. I feel like I’ve had the space to grow while being my authentic self, something I hadn’t experienced to this extent in other companies.
Is there a particular project that you have been involved in that you're proud of?
I’m really proud of our Internal Newsletter, which I started in early 2022. It has evolved from a simple text-based email into a fully designed, content-rich 40-page publication as of Q1 2025. It features team updates from all over the world, and my favourite part is where everyone shares what they’ve been up to outside of work—everything from weddings and babies to birthday parties, gigs, and other big life events. It’s a wonderful way to keep us connected, no matter where we are in the world.
