Investment Programme

To support the realisation of the University Strategy we have embarked on a major new investment programme in our physical and digital infrastructure, the £500m Integrated Infrastructure Plan. This will see several seminal projects to support our Transformational Initiatives, including a new iconic Student Centre at the heart of the campus, a new home for the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology (PET), and a world-class building to accommodate the new Department of Architecture. This investment and the associated projects will also be integral to the delivery of the University’s Sustainability Plan, achieving a pathway to net zero by 2030.

The University of York Vision

The new University Strategy 2030, (A University for Public Good) was launched at the end of 2021, outlining our vision and strategy for the next decade. Further information on the new strategy can be found on the following webpages: https://www.york.ac.uk/about/mission-strategies/vision-for-york/
