About The Diocese of London
The Church of England in London is vibrant and at the heart of communities throughout the capital. The Diocese of London comprises parishes, schools, chaplaincies, and missional communities serving more than 4 million people across 277 square miles of Greater London north of the River Thames, extending from the Isle of Dogs in the east to Staines in the west and as far north as Enfield.
Covering 18 London boroughs, in whole or in part, as well as the district of Spelthorne in Surrey, the Diocese encompasses a diverse mix of urban, suburban, and rural communities.
Through the London Diocesan Fund (LDF), resources are directed towards supporting the mission and growth of the Diocese, helping parishes and worshipping communities to serve their local areas and share the Christian faith across the capital.
