About The Diocese of London
The Church of England in London is vibrant and at the heart of communities throughout the capital. The Diocese of London comprises parishes, schools, chaplaincies, and missional communities serving more than 4 million people across 277 square miles of Greater London north of the River Thames, extending from the Isle of Dogs in the east to Staines in the west and as far north as Enfield.
Covering 18 London boroughs, in whole or in part, as well as the district of Spelthorne in Surrey, the Diocese encompasses a diverse mix of urban, suburban, and rural communities.
Through the London Diocesan Fund (LDF), resources are directed towards supporting the mission and growth of the Diocese, helping parishes and worshipping communities to serve their local areas and share the Christian faith across the capital.

Our Partnership with the Diocese of London
MRG has partnered with the Diocese of London for more than five years, supporting the appointment of senior leaders across its property, housing and asset management functions. During this time, we have developed a strong understanding of the Diocese’s unique estate, operational priorities and long-term strategic objectives.
Working closely with hiring leaders and stakeholders, we have successfully delivered appointments, including:
- Director of Housing and Property Investment
- Head of Housing
- Head of Asset Management
Our ongoing relationship enables us to provide candidates with valuable insight into both the organisation and the opportunities available within it.
