What is your role at MRG?
Campaign Delivery Manager – I manage the delivery process from start to finish, ensuring both candidates and clients receive the best possible service. This includes coordinating project support, managing candidate communications, conducting research, resourcing, and handling any other tasks needed to keep campaigns running smoothly.
What are you most proud of that you have achieved in your career to date?
I am proud of the journey throughout my career I’ve taken as a single mother, balancing the demands of raising young boys with my commitment to professional growth. Navigating both roles has required resilience, determination, and a deep sense of purpose. Despite the challenges, I’ve continued to push forward, securing more responsibilities at work and demonstrating my capability and drive. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made, the strength I’ve shown, and the example I’m setting for my children, proving that with dedication and heart, success is possible both at home and in the workplace.
How did you get into recruitment, and why?
I joined recruitment, specifically MRG, straight after graduating not being too sure where it would lead, almost 10 years later I am ‘born and bred’ MRG.
What energises you about working in this sector?
My management team – I feel really energised by the way my management team leads and supports us. Their enthusiasm and belief in what we’re doing, especially in recruiting for higher education and the wider public sector, makes a big difference. It’s great to be part of a team that’s passionate, driven, and genuinely wants to make an impact.
What’s the biggest thing that’s changed in recruitment since you started?
For me, the post-COVID generation of working from home has been game-changing. As a mother of two young boys, I am able to balance a full-time successful career while still spending as much time with them as I can!
What’s one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I am a regular swimmer and swim four miles a week, great to clear the mind!
What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you?
Live in the present.
What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
Loyal, determined, honest
And finally, who would play you in the movie about your life?
Sandra Bullock, specifically in Miss Congeniality!
