About Sian
With over 25 years of recruitment experience, I joined The Management Recruitment Group in 2011 as Head of Research, where I was responsible for coordinating search strategies across our Higher Education practice.
Since 2016, I’ve led MRG University People, our specialist brand focused on professional services appointments within universities. In 2023, my remit expanded to include our second niche brand, Schools Leadership, allowing me to support a broader range of educational institutions.
In my current role, I plan, coordinate, and deliver senior leadership and executive-level appointments across professional services functions. I work in close partnership with both schools and universities, helping them meet their strategic hiring needs.

Is there a particular project that you have been involved in that you're proud of?
I've had the privilege of delivering some truly impactful campaigns during my time at MRG. While there isn’t one single project that stands out above the rest, I’m especially proud of the many appointments where I’ve successfully identified and attracted exceptional talent from outside the education sector. Seeing those individuals transition into the sector and thrive is incredibly rewarding.
