Q&A With Hayley
How has your career at MRG progressed?
I joined Bid Recruitment in 2017 and began recruiting work-winning professionals within the FM sector, as that was a sector I’d recruited in for years. I then relocated back to Birmingham in 2018 to develop our client base in the Midlands and North. Since joining the business, I have received three promotions and successfully built a diverse client base across a wide range of sectors.
What's the emerging trend in your sector specialism and how are you responding to this?
The use of AI to assist in writing bids is an emerging trend within our sector. Initially, there was a worry that AI would replace the need for bid writers but over time and with some use of AI tools, I believe the market now sees this as a huge benefit to reduce drafting time, provide new ideas and support the business in developing content more efficiently.
How do you add value to your customers?
I believe the value that I add to customers is my in-depth market knowledge and strong industry connections. I know the reality of who a client can hire based on their salary, location and the opportunity and provide valuable feedback to the client in the early stages of the recruitment process. I can also provide salary benchmarking.
