About Daniel

I’ve been with MRG since 2022, working as a Delivery Consultant. I support the delivery of campaigns across the MRG Group, with a particular focus on our specialist education brands—University People and Schools Leadership.

My role involves candidate research, interview scheduling, market mapping, and conducting eligibility to work compliance checks. I enjoy contributing to a smooth and efficient recruitment process, ensuring we connect the right people with the right opportunities.

Outside of MRG, I’m a trained counsellor and provide support to individuals experiencing poor mental health. This work is incredibly meaningful to me and complements my professional role by deepening my understanding of people and their unique journeys.

What makes MRG 'Different by Design'?

Whilst maintaining a clearly defined, polished and highly efficient framework for recruitment campaigns, the team are encouraged to create a bespoke communication style - that enables them to build genuine and long lasting relationships with clients and candidates.

How has your career at MRG progressed?

I initially started on a three month contract supporting the University People brand. I found I had a natural affinity for the role of Delivery Consultant and got a real sense of achievement in assisting the recruitment advisors guide candidates through interview to placement. I was delighted to be offered a permanent position at the end of 2022 - and received excellent training on market mapping, candidate brochure creation and compliance procedures. Since 2022 I have continued to work with University People, and have broadened my remit to include Schools Leadership and other key campaigns for the FM team. I also now lead the eligibility to work compliance check process for all candidates working in the U.K.

How do you add value to your customers?

I ensure that all communications with candidates are not only professional, but that they are conducted with warmth, positivity and a genuine interest in them as people. I have found that this creates a relationship based on trust and authentic connection, leaving them with an excellent impression of MRG.
