About Kilnbridge
Kilnbridge has a hard-earned reputation for delivering construction and civil engineering projects, particularly those with complex or unusual challenges to resolve.
Founded in 1991 by Chairman and Founder, Dermot McDermott, as a general building and civil engineering contractor, they initially undertook builders’ work packages across the Canary Wharf development and southeast London. They quickly developed into a multi-disciplinary, national engineering and construction business that currently employs more than 1,000 people.
Today, Kilnbridge offers expertise in Building & Civil Engineering, Concrete Cutting and Controlled Demolition, Fire Protection and Waste Management. These key service areas are supported by their in-house capabilities in Engineering & Design, Fabrication (K FAB) and Plant and construction equipment (K PLANT).
Working collaboratively with clients in a wide range of industry sectors, they capitalise fully on their teams’ in-depth knowledge, experience and skills to realise their vision.
Their diverse and highly talented workforce delivers outstanding and often award-winning bespoke solutions through innovation, courage and determination.
Kilnbridge proactively embraces equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the business, and has an industry-leading safety culture. In March 2021, they became an employee-owned business, intending to safeguard our future for the benefit of everyone who works there.
