Making 6 placements in one month!
How did you get into recruitment, and why?
Like many of us in recruitment, I didn’t grow up saying, “When I’m older, I want to cold call strangers and ask them about their salary.” Nope! I sort of fell into it.
There’s nothing quite like matching the right person with the right role. It’s like Tinder, but with less ghosting (usually), and more spreadsheets. Also, coffee. Lots of coffee.
What energises you about working in this sector?
Getting my creative juices flowing and make the “match/placement”.
What’s the biggest thing that’s changed in recruitment since you started?
Tech has changed the game.
From AI tools and automated sourcing to video interviews and data-driven hiring decisions. But at the heart of it all, it’s still about people.
What’s one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I am obsessed with eating Dates.
What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you?
“Control what you can, and let the rest go”
