What is your role at MRG?
I am an Associate Delivery Consultant for MRG Global. My primary focus is sourcing and attracting top-calibre candidates for senior roles in real estate and construction in the Middle East.
What are you most proud about that you have achieved in your career to date?
Becoming one of the top billers within a previous corporation within my 1st year of employment.
How did you get into recruitment, and why?
Recruitment has a fun way of finding people, as not many individuals begin their careers in this field. For me, it was a matter of timing (as is often the case). I was exploring a new career path when a close family friend offered me an opportunity.
What energises you about working in this sector?
Making life-changing placements and watching candidates flourish in their new roles.
What’s the biggest thing that’s changed in recruitment since you started?
Being relatively new to recruitment, I’d say that while many things remain consistent, the influence of AI on the industry is a noteworthy change.
What’s one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I’m great at cooking and baking, and my secret ingredient is always a pinch of creativity!
What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you?
The key to life lies in perspective; shifting your view of a situation can be life-changing.
