Senior Property Manager (Operations Manager) – 8 Bishopsgate

The Management Recruitment Group are working in partnership with Savills, who are seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee the successful operation of the iconic new building in the City of London – 8 Bishopsgate.

A flagship of innovation, 8 Bishopsgate is the UK’s most sustainable premium office development. The building houses over 570,000sqft of office space, high-spec amenities including private and communal terraces, deli and restaurant spaces, a 200-seat event space, and a top-floor viewing gallery with panoramic views across London. The Senior Property Manager will lead the onsite teams to deliver best-in-class occupier experience and day-to-day operational property management services, ensuring the building's vision and values are fully integrated into all services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management & Leadership: Lead the team to achieve 8 Bishopsgate's strategic goals and cultivate a customer-obsessed culture, consistently exceeding Savills RISE principles.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong relationships with the building’s Asset Managers (Stanhope) and owner (Mitsubishi) through regular dialogue, meetings, and reporting.
  • Occupier Relations: Foster professional relationships with occupier representatives, encourage open communication, and chair monthly occupier meetings to ensure high service levels.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the production of the annual building service charge budget, manage accounts, and ensure value for money.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, emergency procedures, and safe working practices to provide a safe environment for occupiers and team members.
  • Service Delivery: Procure and manage building and contracted services, ensuring standards are upheld through regular monitoring and liaison with service providers.
  • Building Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the building, maintain high standards, and implement necessary repairs.
  • ESG Leadership: Lead the delivery of ESG goals, engaging with occupiers to align their ESG aspirations with those of the client and Savills.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in service charge budgeting and property statutory compliance.
  • Knowledge of occupier fit-outs and landlord works.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills.
