the role
Reporting to the Project Director, you are tasked with Overseeing the total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. You are also empowered to lead and supervise a site team below you ensuring they comply to Site regulations surrounding site works, site management and Health and Safety implementation.
skills & responsibilities
- Experienced in Data Center / Advanced Factory / Hospital construction
- Emphasis will be on MEP scope of work
- Total work experience of 15 years minimum for this role
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent paperwork / writing skills. Also can demonstrate leadership by supporting reporting staff.
- Communicate and coordinate with all relevant teams of people; The Client, contractors and government bodies
- Maintain official project log and documentation files.
- Design reviews for constructability
- Participate / conduct weekly meetings with respective teams
- Taking a proactive approach to quality of finished work to reduce rectifications works
- Leading and partnering with the Safety Manager to ensure site safety protocols are fully in place and constantly followed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Has completed industrial / medical facility projects
- Engineering principals & techniques
- Able to demonstrate implementation of Quality Systems
- Well versed with Microsoft office programs.
- English (oral & written) communication skills are a must.
