Company Overview: Our client is a globally recognized design consultancy renowned for delivering high-performance engineering solutions across mission-critical sectors. With a strong portfolio of data centre projects across the Asia-Pacific region, they are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team.

Role Summary: As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of complex electrical systems for hyperscale and enterprise data centres. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, interface with clients, and ensure that all electrical designs meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the electrical design for data centre projects from concept through to construction.
Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
Oversee the preparation of detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure compliance with international and local electrical codes, standards, and client requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering exercises.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Support commissioning and handover phases with technical expertise.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 8–10 years of electrical design experience, with at least 5 years in data centre projects.
Proven experience working in a design consultancy environment.
Strong understanding of redundancy, resilience, and power distribution in mission-critical facilities.
Familiarity with international standards such as TIA-942, Uptime Institute, and ASHRAE.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Professional registration (e.g., PE, CEng) is highly desirable.
