Job Profile
A highly prestigious and strategically evolving real estate business is seeking an Executive Manager: Marketing to lead a bold and transformative brand and marketing agenda. This role is ideal for a visionary marketing leader with global perspective, digital acumen, and a passion for place-making and experiential brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of 24 across Events, B2C, Digital, Branding, and Advertising.
  • Define and execute a compelling marketing and customer experience strategy aligned with organisational purpose and commercial goals.
  • Spearhead strategic events and activations, including high-profile experiences.
  • Oversee and evolve the organisation’s digital presence and website, currently undergoing a strategic refresh.
  • Champion the brand across all touchpoints—ensuring consistency, resonance, and alignment to evolving customer expectations.
  • Manage a marketing budget of R10-R15 million, optimising return on marketing investment and unlocking commercial opportunities through brand assets.
  • Engage with and lead external agency and consultant relationships, ensuring high-quality execution and delivery.
  • Build a data-driven approach to marketing by leveraging consumer insights, brand analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Actively handle public feedback, communications, and brand perception in a sensitive, professional manner.
  • Build and present a forward-thinking 2026 marketing roadmap, evolving from the current interim 6-month plan.
  • Serve as an active member of the Executive team, contributing to organisational strategy.

Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years’ senior-level marketing leadership experience, ideally within large-scale consumer-facing environments.
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce, or related discipline (BCom or equivalent required).
  • Strong command of strategic brand management, digital platforms, event curation, content, and campaign delivery.
  • Highly collaborative, with experience working across senior leadership and external partner ecosystems.
  • Experience managing complex budgets and driving measurable marketing outcomes.
  • Comfortable leading in open-plan, fast-paced, and purpose-driven environments.
