Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Manager with expertise in Data Centre or Industrial Building Construction to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand. This role requires a seasoned professional who can manage complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, budget, and schedule requirements are met. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management, technical expertise in M&E installations, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with data centre and industrial building construction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Oversee the entire construction lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Site Supervision: Lead and supervise on-site construction activities, including managing subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to maintain adherence to project requirements.
Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on structural, M&E installations, and commissioning processes specific to data centres or industrial facilities.
Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with local regulations, company standards, and international health and safety guidelines to create a safe work environment.
Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression and resolve issues promptly.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and best practices.
Reporting: Provide regular project updates, including progress, budget, risks, and solutions to the senior management team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record in data centre or industrial building projects.
Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and their integration within data centre or industrial facility environments.
Solid understanding of local building codes and construction regulations in Thailand.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Excellent communication skills in English; Thai language proficiency is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
